Yes, it's red, properly red, and the freckles come as a set. The Mumbai sun adds a few more every month and I've stopped fighting it. My denim jacket goes everywhere with me, even when it's far too hot. Hotel air conditioning is my excuse.
I'm cheerful and chatty, and I can talk to just about anyone. My students would tell you I never stop. Teaching grown-ups is fun, by the way. Half of them want to sound less formal in English, and I'm the opposite problem, because I'm never formal at all. That's handy on a booking, because nobody sits through an awkward silence with me. Ask me about Manchester rain or the strangest thing I ate in London, and we're away.
In Manchester we say 'ta' for thank you and 'buzzing' when we're happy. If I tell you I'm buzzing to see you, I mean it.
